I hate as much as I LOVE Jakarta

Image
Jakarta is an unloveable city. It is selfish, arrogant, chaotic, ambitious, crowded, polluted, noisy, messy, dirty, stinky, whatever you can name it. In this city, everyone suffers to varying degrees. A lot of complaints are spoken every minute, everywhere, every time. It is just like a daily habit. Yet, no one seems to be leaving. Except nowadays.  A scenery from 22 floor in the heart of the city

A Heartbreaking Visit to a Nazi Interrogation Prison in Koln, Germany

Image
When the first time I planned to go to Koln (or Cologne in English), I really wanted to see Koln Bridge and take the view of it with one of the biggest Gothic Cathedral in the world as a background. And I did it, just like you see in the above picture. And this is a must for you to cross the bridge like I did in Sydney and Stockholm . You can also put your love lock in the bridge (which I did not do that).  However, in this article, I will not talk about the beauty of Koln, because my heart still stuck in there especially when I visited Koln's NS-Dokumentationszentrum, a former Nazi interrogation prison. It is not a Jewish memorial, it possesses a similar spirit and was an even more powerful experience.

If you have one day in Antwerp, Belgium.

In September 2019, I visited Belgium for the first time and I chose Antwerp to visit. It was just two hours by Flixbus from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. When I arrived in the morning, I felt okay with this city but, at the end of the day, I finally found myself really enjoyed this town. It offered a lot of things with the combination of culture, history and modernity.

Another capital of love: Stockholm!

What do you think about romantic travel to the city of love? Is it Paris, Venice, or Tbilisi? People often think of those cities but forget about Scandinavia, especially Sweden's capital: Stockholm. I believe people should go to Stockholm once to redefine the meaning of love.  Baltic Sea from Rosendal Tradgard

Things I brought for 14 days travel to India As a solo traveller, I always try challenging myself whenever I go. It could be the destination, could be an unplanned journey. So this May, I decided to dare my self by visiting India during summer and the second one was only bringing 7kg hand luggage for 14 days. It is important to note that summer in India is extremely hot (around 43 - 50 degrees Celcius). However, I also went to Kashmir where the weather contrasted with other cities in the country. So, here I will share to you how to pack 7kg hand luggage for 14 days in two opposite kinds of weather in Northern India.

Kashmir: Safer than any cities in India, but why is less tourist still?

Image
Kashmir, a word that evokes a thousand emotions of love, grandeur, exotic and in the words of Firdaus, paradise. For a long time now, Kashmir is spoken of only in two ways: its conflict, which is undeniable; and its beauty, which is equally so. That a state is once so rich in everything India stands for history, culture, tradition, vibrancy has been reduced to sensational headlines in indeed devastating.  A piece of views in Doodhpatri, Kashmir Valley
